My focus as an instructor is on beginner to intermediate lessons. My primary discipline is hunter/jumper, however, if you're looking for someone to teach you or your child the basics - walk, trot, canter, woah, and steering - I'm happy to help.
Schooling/Riding:
$25 for a half-hour ride
$50 for a hour ride
Do you need your horse ridden? Sometimes we can't ride our horses as often as we'd like. Having someone that can keep your horse in work can help keep them fit and happy can be a huge help. Can also lunge on the flat and hand walk if needed. Schooling/riding also includes a grooming and once over of your horse.
Horse Sitting:
For those of us who have their horses at home, sometimes that can make it tough to take a vacation. Horse sitters can come in quite handy.
Horse sitting services include:
- feeding (with or without supplements): AM OR PM = one trip; AM AND PM = two trips
- turn out
- giving your horse a once over
- cleaning or skipping out a stall
- blanketing and fly sheets - checked and swapped if necessary or requested
- grooming, cleaning out feet, and applying fly spray - if requested
- EXTRAS: Holding for a farrier, dentist, or vet will constitute an additional fee
Prices break down as follows:
Barns with in 10 miles of "Home Base"
One Trip - $30
Two Trips - $40
Barns within 20 miles of "Home Base"
One Trip - $50
Two Trips - $60
